No. Due to telecom regulations across Jammu & Kashmir, non-J&K prepaid mobile SIM cards are barred. Only postpaid SIMs (Jio, Airtel, BSNL) or local J&K prepaid SIMs function in Srinagar and throughout the valley.

The early morning ride (6:00 AM – 7:30 AM) is best to catch the historic floating vegetable market and quiet, glass-like water. Late afternoon (5:00 PM – 6:30 PM) is best for sunset views and illuminated houseboats.
