About KashmirRide

KashmirRide is a Kashmir-only travel marketplace. We bring local taxi operators, self-drive and bike rentals, hotels, houseboats, shikara owners, guides and gear rentals onto one site, so you can plan and book a whole trip from one account.

Why we built it

Planning Kashmir usually means a dozen WhatsApp chats, fare lists that don't match, and no single place to see what you've actually booked. Local providers are excellent at what they do, but they rarely have the time to run a booking website.

So we built the booking layer: search, clear prices, availability, secure payments, confirmations, and one trip page that shows every booking, driver detail and receipt.

How it works

• Providers list their own services and set their own prices and availability. They are independent businesses, not our employees.
• We review every provider before they go live. Badges on a profile say exactly what we checked - see how verification works.
• Prices are shown in full before you pay: the rental, delivery or extras, taxes, and any refundable deposit you pay at pickup.
• Reviews only come from completed bookings. We never write, buy or edit reviews.
