How verification works
Badges on KashmirRide are only useful if they mean something specific. Here is exactly what each one says, and what it does not say.
Verified provider
Our team reviewed the provider's business details and the documents their service type needs. For vehicle operators that means the vehicle registration (RC), insurance, permits and fitness certificates where applicable. For stays and houseboats, it means owner identity and tourism-department registration where applicable.
Documents with an expiry date are tracked. If one expires, the listings that depend on it are paused automatically until a valid document is uploaded.
Business verified
The provider's business information (name, address, contact person, registration numbers they supplied) passed our internal review. Their documents may still be in review.
Phone verified
We confirmed that the provider controls the phone number on their profile.
What badges do not mean
- They are not a government approval or an official tourism-department partnership.
- They are not a ranking. We show the facts - rating, completed bookings, response rate, years in business - so you can judge for yourself.
- They don't replace your own judgement on the day: check the vehicle, the room, and the agreed price before you start.
Sponsored listings
Providers can pay for extra placement. Those listings always carry a Sponsored label. Sponsorship never affects reviews or badges.
How we sort results
“Recommended” puts verified providers with strong ratings and more completed bookings first, then newer providers. You can always sort by price or rating instead.
